How it works
Does anything go live without review?
No. Every Campus Voices video and caption is checked against your guidelines before posting. Choose managed approval or review every post yourself.
Who decides what students post about?
We do, from your priorities. Campus Voices writes the plan each month and you approve, edit or skip any of it. You can request a specific topic whenever you want, and creators pitch their own ideas, which we check against your guidelines before anything is commissioned.
How much creative control do students have?
Briefs set the facts and boundaries, not the script. Students decide how to tell the story in their own voice. That is why people watch it.
How much of our team's time does this take?
A kickoff to set your priorities, key dates and guardrails, then about thirty minutes a week to approve what is next. We handle recruiting, planning, briefs, review and reporting.
Content and control
How do we control what is off limits?
Facts, required language, restricted topics and disclosure requirements are built directly into each creator brief.
What is off limits?
Whatever you say is. Your no-go list is written into every brief. Athletics and NIL are a separate program, not part of this one.
What happens if something inaccurate gets posted?
Facts and required language come from your guidelines and are checked before approval. If something still slips through, tell us: we arrange a correction or a takedown with the creator.
What happens if a creator deletes a post early?
Each brief sets a live window the creator agrees to, and we verify posts after they go up and during the window. A creator who takes a post down early is not offered further briefs, and you keep the approved asset in your library.
What happens if a creator violates program rules?
Creators accept written program rules before their first brief. If a creator breaks them, Campus Voices pauses or removes them from the roster and tells you. The program only covers sponsored posts, not a student's personal account activity.
What happens if we need a post removed?
Request removal from your content library with a reason. The creator is notified and takes the post down within 24 hours; we confirm and let you know. The clean file and usage rights stay on record.
Creators
How do you know a creator is actually enrolled?
Three checks, and we are precise about them: every creator applies with a working university email address on your domain, attests in the creator agreement that they are currently enrolled and at least 18, and has a public account we review before they are accepted. We do not treat a bio that says a school year as proof. If your registrar can confirm enrollment or share an eligible-student list, we will check against it; otherwise the attestation is the standard, and a creator who misrepresents it is removed and unpaid.
Who pays the students?
Campus Voices does, and it is included in your program fee. You do not need to find extra budget for creator pay, and nothing has to run through your payroll unless your policy requires it.
How is creator pay administered?
Creators are paid per approved and verified post under our creator agreement as independent contractors, with tax information collected where required. Where a university's policy requires student-employment processing instead, we work through it.
Can other students appear in videos?
Only with their permission. Creators confirm at upload that everyone recognizable agreed to appear, and briefs prohibit student IDs, private information and roommates without consent.
How is music handled?
Creators confirm at upload that the music is original, from the platform's commercial library or otherwise cleared for a sponsored post. Reviewers check it before approval.
We already have student ambassadors. Can they join?
Yes. They join the same roster as the creators we recruit, with the same briefs, approvals, compensation, rights and reporting.
Rights, reporting and procurement
Who owns the videos?
The student owns the account and the original video. Your university can post and repost every approved video on its own channels, with crops, captions and excerpts, for as long as you like. That is included.
Can we use the videos in paid advertising?
Yes, with a separate license and extra pay for the creator. We arrange it per campaign so nothing runs as an ad by accident.
How are rights tracked?
Every approved asset, live post and organic usage right stays documented in your Campus Voices library.
What do we get each week?
Briefs sent, drafts received, approved, live, and views where available, plus every approved video in your library with its rights record.
What will our procurement office need?
The usual: a vendor registration, a W-9, our agreement and a short data summary. We collect no student records from you; creators sign up with us directly.
Still deciding? Start with a proof pilot.
Six weeks, ten creators, everything handled. Enough to see real student distribution before you commit to an ongoing program.
