Creator Agreement
The agreement every creator accepts: pay, approval, rights, removal and conduct.
Draft, awaiting attorney review
This document is a working draft published so you can see how Campus Voices works. It has not been reviewed by our attorney yet and may change. Items in [brackets] are still to be filled in.
Version: [1.0] Effective date: [date] Agreement kind in the app: CREATOR_TERMS
The short version
You are an enrolled student, 18 or older, making short videos for your own TikTok or Instagram account. You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Campus Voices or your University. We offer you paid opportunities called Briefs. You can say no to any of them, and saying no never counts against you. If you say yes, you make a draft, we (or your University) review it, and you post only the approved version with the required disclosure naming the sponsor. Once we verify the live post, you have earned the fee in the Brief, and we pay you within 15 days. You keep ownership of your videos and your accounts. For each post we pay for, you give Campus Voices and your University a license to reuse that video on their own unpaid (organic) channels, like their Instagram page or website. They cannot use it in paid ads unless you sign a separate Paid Media Rights Addendum and get paid extra. Keep the post up for the live window in the Brief (usually 30 days). If we ask you to take a post down, do it within 24 hours (4 hours if it is urgent), and you still get paid. Do not show IDs, room numbers or other people's private information, get a signed release from anyone you intentionally feature, and use only music you are allowed to use in an ad. You can leave any time.
This summary is here to help you read the Agreement. If the summary and the numbered terms below ever disagree, the numbered terms control.
1. Parties, key terms and how this Agreement fits together
1.1 Parties. This Campus Voices Creator Agreement (the "Agreement") is between you ("you" or the "Creator") and TTplus10 Inc., a Nevada corporation doing business as Campus Voices and Campus Voices Media ("Campus Voices", "we", "us"). Our address is [registered address]. Our contact email is hello@campusvoicesmedia.com. Our website is www.campusvoicesmedia.com.
1.2 Key terms. These words have these meanings wherever they appear in this Agreement:
- "University" means the college or university named in a Brief that has signed a master services agreement with Campus Voices (the "MSA") and a statement of work ("SOW") for a Program.
- "Program" means a University's Campus Voices program under an SOW.
- "Independent Test" means the Campus Voices proof program described in Schedule A, which has no University customer.
- "Sponsor" means the organization that is paying for and is being promoted by a Program post. In a Program, the Sponsor is the University (including when the University pays you directly). In the Independent Test, the Sponsor is Campus Voices.
- "Brief" means an opportunity we offer you in the Campus Voices app. A Brief states the goal, the facts that must be included, what is prohibited, the platforms, caption rules, the disclosure text, the fee, the due date, the live window, and the music, featured-person and privacy rules for that piece of content.
- "Assignment" means a Brief you have accepted.
- "Draft" means the video and caption you upload for review, including any revised version.
- "Reviewer" means the person who reviews your Draft. Depending on the Program, that is Campus Voices staff reviewing under the University's written guidelines, or University staff. The Brief or the app tells you which.
- "Approval" means a Reviewer approved your Draft in the app. "Approved Content" means a Draft that received Approval, was posted and verified as described in Section 5, and for which the full Fee has been paid.
- "Version A" means the approved video as posted on the platform, with any platform audio allowed by the Music and Content Rights Policy.
- "Version B" means a clean copy of the same approved edit with no third-party music, no platform stickers and no watermarks, at the highest resolution you have.
- "Live Post" means your Version A post, published from your own account.
- "Verification" means Campus Voices staff checking your Live Post and confirming all of the items in Section 5.3.
- "Fee" means the amount stated in the Brief for that Assignment, in U.S. dollars.
- "Live Window" means the number of days stated in the Brief, counted from when your Live Post went live. If the Brief does not say, the Live Window is 30 days.
- "University Owned Channels" has the meaning in Section 12.2.
- "Featured Person" means a person, other than you, who is intentionally featured in your content, as defined in the Featured Person and Release Policy.
- "Release" means a signed Featured Person Release in the form Campus Voices provides.
- "Paid Media" has the meaning in Section 13.1.
- "Payment Provider" means the third-party service we use to pay creators, currently [Trolley / Tipalti / Gusto, founder to pick].
- "Policies" means the documents that are part of this Agreement by reference: the Campus Voices Disclosure Policy, the Featured Person and Release Policy, the Music and Content Rights Policy, the Privacy Policy, and any written University guidelines linked in a Brief. Each is available at [www.campusvoicesmedia.com/legal] and in the app.
1.3 What makes up the deal. Your relationship with Campus Voices is made up of: this Agreement; each Brief you accept; the Policies (in the version linked from the Brief when you accepted it); Schedule A, if you are in the Independent Test; and any Paid Media Rights Addendum you sign.
1.4 If documents disagree. If there is a conflict, this order controls, from highest to lowest: (a) a signed Paid Media Rights Addendum, for the asset it covers; (b) Schedule A, for the Independent Test; (c) the Brief, but only for the items a Brief is meant to set (fee, due date, platforms, live window, required facts, prohibited items, caption rules, disclosure text, music, featured-person and privacy rules for that piece); (d) this Agreement; (e) the Policies. A Brief can never reduce your rights under this Agreement (for example, it cannot make you an employee, shorten the payment deadline, expand the licenses, or allow Paid Media without an Addendum).
1.5 Written contract. This Agreement plus each Brief is the written contract for that Assignment. Together they state: both parties' names and addresses (yours are in your account), the work to be done (the Brief and Section 6), the value of the work (the Fee), how you will be paid (the Payment Provider), when you will be paid (Section 5.4), and when you must submit your work (the due date in the Brief, and the live URL under Section 6.1(e)). You can download a copy of this Agreement and each Brief from the app at any time.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Who can join. To accept Briefs, you must, at all times while you hold an Assignment:
(a) be at least 18 years old;
(b) be currently enrolled as a student at the University named in the Brief (or, for the Independent Test, at the school named in Schedule A);
(c) be legally able to receive payment for independent work in the United States without Campus Voices sponsoring or providing any work authorization;
(d) own and control the TikTok or Instagram account you post from, with that account in good standing with the platform; and
(e) have completed onboarding in the app: profile, enrollment verification, acceptance of this Agreement, and payout setup.
2.2 How we verify enrollment. We verify enrollment by sending a one-time link or code to your school (.edu) email address. If that check fails or we have a reasonable doubt, we may ask you for a current-term enrollment verification letter or a registrar screenshot showing only your name, school and term. Please hide your student ID number, grades and photo. We view it, record the result, and delete the file within 30 days. We will never ask you for a student ID image, your Social Security number (except inside the Payment Provider's own tax form flow, which we do not store), transcripts, grades, immigration documents, your date of birth, or financial aid information.
2.3 Your statements. When you accept this Agreement you confirm, and each time you accept a Brief you confirm again, that everything in Section 2.1 is true. Tell us right away through the app or at hello@campusvoicesmedia.com if any of it stops being true.
2.4 Re-verification each term. At the start of each fall and spring term we will re-send the .edu check. Until you complete it, you can finish Assignments you already accepted but cannot accept new Briefs.
2.5 Graduation and leaving school. Your eligibility for new Briefs ends at the end of the term in which you graduate or stop being enrolled. [Option for founder: You may finish any Assignment you accepted before then, and your Live Window obligations continue.] Fees you have earned are always paid.
2.6 Where you live and work. Some states have rules that make independent contractor arrangements like this one harder or uncertain. Campus Voices may decide not to offer Briefs to creators who live or will do the work in particular states, or may offer a different arrangement there. If this happens we will tell you, and we will apply the rule the same way to everyone in that state.
2.7 Student-athletes and University employees. If you are a student-athlete, you must tell us before accepting a Brief, so that you can meet any name, image and likeness (NIL) reporting or approval duty your school, conference or the NCAA requires. Meeting those duties is your responsibility. If you are employed by the University in any role (for example, in a marketing, admissions or communications role, or a student job), you must tell us before accepting a Brief for that University. In either case we may decline to offer you Briefs for that Program. We do not ask about citizenship, immigration status or national origin, and you should not tell us.
3. Independent contractor relationship
3.1 You are an independent contractor. You are not an employee, agent, partner or joint venturer of Campus Voices or of the University. Nothing in this Agreement, a Brief or the app makes you one. You cannot sign contracts or speak on behalf of Campus Voices or the University.
3.2 No exclusivity. You are free to work for anyone else, including other brands, agencies and competitors of Campus Voices, at any time. You may also work for other colleges and universities, including during a Live Window. The only limit is this: a single post may not be sponsored by two institutions at once, so you will not make one post that is sponsored by both the Sponsor of a Brief and another college or university.
3.3 You choose your work. Every Brief is an offer, not an instruction. You may decline any Brief, or simply not respond, for any reason or no reason. Declining or not responding never affects your standing, future offers, pay or anything else.
3.4 You control how you work. You decide when, where (within the location rules in the Featured Person and Release Policy) and how you make the content, including the idea, script, style, filming and editing. Briefs set facts and outcomes, not scripts. There are no hours, schedules, shifts, minimum workloads, meetings or required training, other than reading the Brief and the Policies.
3.5 Your own tools. You use your own phone, equipment, software and accounts, at your own cost, unless a Brief says otherwise in writing.
3.6 No benefits. You are not eligible for any employee benefits from Campus Voices or the University, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, workers' compensation or unemployment insurance, to the extent the law allows this.
3.7 Taxes. You are responsible for all taxes on your Fees. We do not withhold income tax, Social Security or Medicare from your Fees, except backup withholding if federal law requires it. Before your first payment you must complete, inside the Payment Provider's flow, a Form W-9 if you are a U.S. person, or a Form W-8BEN if you are a nonresident alien (this can include some F-1 and J-1 students). If you complete a Form W-8BEN, tax may be withheld from your Fees as the Payment Provider determines under federal law. We issue Form 1099-NEC (or Form 1042-S for withheld payments to nonresident aliens) when federal law requires it, based on the reporting threshold in effect for that year. We recommend talking to a tax professional, especially about how this income could affect scholarships or financial aid.
3.8 Not a University job. Your work under this Agreement is not University employment, a University internship, work-study or a University activity. It does not count toward any course, grade or credit.
4. How opportunities work
4.1 Offers. We may offer a Brief to one or more eligible creators at the same time. The first creator to accept it in the app gets the Assignment. Once it is taken, the offer closes for everyone else. An offer may also expire or be withdrawn before anyone accepts it.
4.2 Accepting creates one obligation. When you accept a Brief, you agree to do that one Assignment on the terms of the Brief and this Agreement. Accepting one Brief does not commit you to any other Brief.
4.3 Deadlines. The Brief states a due date for your Draft. Deadlines are in [the University's local time zone] unless the Brief says otherwise. After Approval, you must post within [3] days or by the posting date in the Brief, whichever is later. If you need more time, ask in the app before the deadline. We will not unreasonably refuse a short extension.
4.4 Releasing an Assignment. You may release (give back) an accepted Assignment in the app or by email. If you release it at least [48 hours] before the due date, there is no penalty of any kind. If you release it later than that, or miss the due date without an extension, you receive no Fee for it and we may cancel it. We will not hold a single late release against you. If late releases or missed deadlines happen repeatedly (more than [2] in one term), we may offer you fewer Briefs.
4.5 Cancellation by us. Campus Voices may cancel an Assignment at any time, including because the University changed its plans. Section 5.7 explains what you are paid when that happens.
5. Compensation
5.1 Amount. The Fee for each Assignment is the amount stated in the Brief. It is a fixed fee for the finished deliverable, not hourly pay. The Fee covers all of your work on that Assignment and the licenses in Sections 11, 12 and 14.
5.2 When the Fee is earned. You earn the Fee when all three of these are true:
(a) your Draft received Approval before you posted it;
(b) you posted the approved Version A from your own account with the required disclosure; and
(c) Verification passed.
5.3 Verification. After you post, you submit the live URL in the app. Campus Voices staff then check that: the post is on your own account; it is the approved video, unedited; the required disclosure is in the live caption and on screen, and the platform's branded content or paid partnership label is on where the Disclosure Policy requires it; the required caption elements are present; and the post is public and opens. We will complete Verification, or tell you exactly what needs fixing, within 3 business days after you submit the live URL. If something needs fixing, you can fix it and resubmit.
5.4 When you are paid. We pay each earned Fee within 15 days after Verification, through the Payment Provider. Whatever happens with Verification (including if we are late completing it), payment for a post that you published as approved will never be later than 30 days after you submitted its live URL. The only exceptions are a payment hold under Section 5.5, and a post that we told you, within the 3 business days in Section 5.3, did not meet Section 5.3 and that you did not fix. In the default model, where the University pays Campus Voices, we pay you on this schedule even if the University pays us late.
5.5 Payment holds. We hold payments until you have completed your tax form (Form W-9 or Form W-8BEN, under Section 3.7) and the Payment Provider's onboarding. Once you finish, the 15-day period in Section 5.4 starts from the later of Verification and the date you finished. We will remind you if a payment is on hold. If you never complete onboarding, we will handle unpaid amounts as state unclaimed property law requires.
5.6 Payment method and fees. Campus Voices pays the Payment Provider's standard fee for [ACH / standard bank transfer]. If you choose a faster or different payout method that has an extra fee, that fee is yours. Fees are paid in U.S. dollars.
5.7 Kill fees. If Campus Voices or the University cancels an Assignment:
(a) before you submitted any Draft: no Fee;
(b) after you submitted a Draft that met the Brief: 50% of the Fee. This includes the case in Section 8.3 where Campus Voices decides your Draft met the Brief and the University still will not approve it;
(c) after Approval but before you posted: 100% of the Fee.
If you cancel or release an Assignment yourself, no Fee is due. A kill fee is paid on the same schedule as a Fee, counted from the date of cancellation. A kill fee never creates a license: it does not give Campus Voices or the University any license to the content, even when the kill fee is 100% of the Fee. Only Approved Content that was posted, verified and paid is licensed. You keep all rights to cancelled content.
5.8 Rejected work. If your Draft is rejected, either because it still does not meet the Brief after two revision rounds or because it breaks the rules in the Brief or the Policies, no Fee is due. You keep full rights to that content, and nobody receives a license to use it. Campus Voices may keep a copy only for its records under the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy (90 days after the Assignment closes for Drafts that were never approved), and will not use it for anything else.
5.9 Platform removes a post or suspends your account. If the platform removes your Live Post or suspends your account through no fault of yours, then: if Verification already passed, the Fee stands and the licenses apply; if Verification had not happened yet, the Assignment is treated as cancelled after Approval under Section 5.7(c), you receive 100% of the Fee, and no license is granted because the post was not verified. You are never penalized for a platform action you did not cause.
5.10 No expenses. We do not reimburse expenses (travel, props, tickets, software, music licenses or anything else) unless the Brief says so in writing before you spend the money.
5.11 No clawbacks. Once a Fee is paid, we will not take it back or reduce it for any reason, including a removal request, early deletion, a correction or a later change of mind by the University. The only exception is a Fee obtained by fraud (for example, fake enrollment, bought views, someone else's work, or a knowingly false attestation). In that case you must repay it.
5.12 University-Paid Option. In some Programs, the University pays creators directly through its own process instead of through Campus Voices. If a Brief says this applies: the University, not Campus Voices, pays the Fee under the payment terms stated in the Brief; the University may require its own vendor or payroll paperwork; Sections 5.4 to 5.6 do not apply to that Fee; and the licenses in Section 12 start when the University has paid you and has paid Campus Voices the invoice covering that content. Campus Voices does not guarantee or pay that Fee; the University does. Campus Voices will tell the University within [2] business days after your Fee is earned, and will follow up with the University if you tell us a payment is late. The University's SOW will say which of these applies: (a) the University pays you as the law requires for how it treats you, and you still own your content as Section 10 says, with the licenses in Sections 11, 12 and 14; or (b) the University employs you and owns the work as a work made for hire, in which case Section 10.1's ownership rule does not apply to that content, and the University grants you the right to keep the post on your account. The Brief will tell you which applies before you accept it.
6. Deliverables
6.1 What you deliver for each Assignment:
(a) a Draft video and caption, uploaded in the app by the due date, with the attestations the app asks for (music cleared, whether you feature anyone and that you have their Release, no private information, and that you understand the disclosure rules);
(b) up to two rounds of revisions if a Reviewer asks for changes (Section 8.3);
(c) Version B, uploaded with the Draft you submit for final Approval (if your video has no third-party music, the approved file also counts as Version B);
(d) the Live Post, published from your own account exactly as approved;
(e) the live URL, submitted in the app promptly after posting; and
(f) when we reasonably ask, screenshots showing the platform's branded content or paid partnership label, and screenshots of the post's views, likes, comments and shares. We will not ask for metrics screenshots more than [3] times per post, and only during the Live Window and the 30 days after it.
6.2 Releases. You also deliver a Release for each Featured Person, as described in Section 15.
6.3 Quality. Your content must be your own original work, meet the Brief, and follow the Policies. You do not have to meet any particular production standard beyond what the Brief says.
7. Creative control
7.1 Your creative voice. The content is yours to create. You decide the idea, format, words, visuals, filming and editing, as long as you include the required facts, avoid what is prohibited, and follow the Policies.
7.2 What Reviewers can ask for. Reviewers may ask for changes only to make the Draft meet the Brief, the Policies or the University's written guidelines, or to fix accuracy, legal, safety or privacy problems. They will explain what failed. They will not script your words, except for required facts and disclosure text.
7.3 You never have to say something you do not believe. You will not be asked to state personal opinions or experiences you do not actually hold or have had. If a Brief asks for something that would make you say something untrue about yourself, tell us and we will change the Brief or release you from it without penalty.
8. Approval
8.1 Nothing sponsored goes live before Approval. You must not publish any Program content, or any content that uses the Brief, before you receive Approval in the app. Approval only counts if it appears in the app (not a text or a verbal "looks good").
8.2 Post exactly what was approved. Your Live Post must use the approved video and the approved caption. You may not re-edit the video, remove or move the disclosure, or change the required caption elements. You may add your own extra hashtags or a location tag only if the Brief allows it.
8.3 Revisions. If a Reviewer requests changes, you may submit a revised Draft. Every revision request must name the specific Brief requirement or rule the Draft fails; a request that does not do so is not a revision round. Up to two revision rounds are included in the Fee. If a Reviewer asks for a third round, you may decline. If you decline, the Assignment ends without a Fee, unless Campus Voices chooses to approve your latest Draft. Campus Voices decides whether a Draft met the Brief. If Campus Voices decides your Draft met the Brief and the University still will not approve it, the Assignment is treated as cancelled after a Draft that met the Brief, and you receive 50% of the Fee under Section 5.7(b).
8.4 The review checklist. Every Draft is reviewed against a seven-item checklist: required facts, prohibited topics, disclosure, music, privacy, featured people, and University rules. A Draft that fails any item cannot be approved. The Reviewer will tell you which item failed and why.
8.5 Posting unapproved content. If you post Program content before Approval, or post something different from what was approved: no Fee is due for it; you must remove it within 24 hours after we ask; and doing it repeatedly, or on purpose, is grounds for removal from the Program roster.
9. Disclosures
9.1 The Disclosure Policy is part of this Agreement. You must follow the Campus Voices Disclosure Policy and the disclosure text in each Brief. Sponsored content without a clear disclosure can break federal law (FTC rules on endorsements) and platform rules.
9.2 The core rule. For every Program post:
(a) your caption must start with the approved disclosure text, in the first line before the "more" cut-off (for example, "#ad @[university handle]" or "Paid partnership with @[university handle]");
(b) turn on the platform's disclosure tool: on TikTok, "Content disclosure" then "Branded content" (adding the Sponsor as the brand where the platform supports it); on Instagram, "Add paid partnership label," with the Sponsor's account as partner when the Sponsor accepts;
(c) show on-screen text, such as "Ad" or "Sponsored by [University]," for at least the first 3 seconds of the video; and
(d) if you speak to the camera in the post, you must also say the disclosure out loud, for example "This is sponsored by [University]" or "[University] paid me to make this." If you do not speak to the camera, the on-screen text and caption are enough.
9.3 Not allowed as a disclosure. Hashtags buried at the end, "#sp," "#collab" or "#partner" on their own, "thanks to," or a disclosure only in your bio or only in the comments.
9.4 Keep it on. You must keep the disclosure and the platform label in place for as long as the post is live, including after the Live Window.
9.5 Honest opinions. Anything you say about your own experience must be true and your honest opinion.
10. Ownership
10.1 You own your content and accounts. You own the videos, captions and other content you create, and your social media accounts. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership to Campus Voices or the University. You only grant the licenses described in Sections 11, 12 and 14.
10.2 We never need your passwords. Campus Voices and the University will never ask for your account passwords or login access. Do not share them.
10.3 What we and the University own. Campus Voices owns its app, Briefs, templates and materials. The University owns its names, logos, marks, and any materials it gives you for a Brief. You may use those only as a Brief allows and only for that Assignment.
10.4 Your own later use. You may keep your Live Post on your account after the Live Window and may use Approved Content in your personal portfolio. If you repost Approved Content anywhere, keep the disclosure. You may not license or sell Approved Content to another college or university, or to anyone else for advertising, without our written consent.
11. License to Campus Voices
11.1 To run the Program. From the moment you upload a Draft, you grant Campus Voices a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, copy and keep that Draft for the purpose of running the review process and keeping records, under the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.
11.2 For Approved Content. For Approved Content, you also grant Campus Voices a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce and deliver it (including Version B) to the University, and to use it to operate and report on the Program (for example, in reports to the University showing the post and its metrics).
11.3 Sales materials and case studies. Campus Voices may also show Approved Content in its own sales materials and case studies, in organic (unpaid) form only, but only if both: (a) the University has opted in to that use under its MSA; and (b) you have not opted out in your settings. You may opt out at any time. Your opt-out applies to new materials from then on, and we will remove the content from our active materials (like our website and current sales deck) within 30 days. We cannot recall copies already sent to others.
11.4 Limits. Campus Voices may not use your content in Paid Media, sell it, license it to anyone other than as Sections 11 and 12 describe, or use it to train artificial intelligence models.
12. Organic License to the University
12.1 The grant. For each piece of Approved Content, you grant the University named in the Brief a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it on University Owned Channels, as described in this Section 12 (the "Organic License"). The Organic License takes effect for a piece of content only when both of these have happened: you have been paid the Fee for it, and the University has paid Campus Voices the invoice covering it. From then on it is irrevocable. The University is an intended third-party beneficiary of this Section 12 and may enforce it.
12.2 University Owned Channels. "University Owned Channels" means any social account, page or channel owned and controlled by the University's legal entity, including departmental, college, admissions, athletics and school accounts on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube (including Shorts), X, Threads, Snapchat and Pinterest; University websites; University email newsletters; digital signage on campus; and presentations at University events.
12.3 Sublicensing. The University may sublicense the Organic License only to agencies and vendors acting on the University's behalf, and only so they can post on University Owned Channels for the University.
12.4 What the Organic License does not cover. The Organic License does not allow:
(a) Paid Media of any kind (see Section 13);
(b) selling the content, or sublicensing it to any third party, except as Section 12.3 allows;
(c) use by entities that are affiliated with the University but legally separate (such as foundations, alumni associations, or separately incorporated athletics departments or health systems), unless they are listed in the University's SOW;
(d) training artificial intelligence models; or
(e) use that implies you endorse anything outside what your post actually says.
12.5 Edits the University may make. The University may crop, resize, trim, shorten, add subtitles or captions, add University branding or end cards, add music the University has licensed, and combine your content with other content it has the right to use.
12.6 Edits the University may not make. The University may not change the meaning of your content, put words in your mouth, create a deepfake or any synthetic alteration of your face or voice, or place your content next to political, religious or other sensitive material in a way that implies you support it.
12.7 Credit. When the University reposts your content, it must include a credit that tells viewers you were paid, for example "Paid student creator @[your handle]" or "Created by @[your handle], a paid [University] student creator." A bare "Created by @[your handle]" is not enough. The University will tag you where the platform allows. If you ask not to be named, the University will leave out your name and handle but will still say the content was made by a paid student creator.
12.8 Version B only off-platform. The University may reuse only Version B off the original platform. Version A may be shared only using the platform's own share or repost features.
12.9 Survival. The Organic License continues even if you delete your original post, leave the Program, graduate, or this Agreement or the University's MSA ends.
12.10 Courtesy takedown for safety. If you have a serious personal safety reason, you may ask the University (through Campus Voices) to stop new uses of a specific piece of content. Under its MSA, the University has agreed to use reasonable efforts to remove it from its active channels within 10 business days. This is a good-faith commitment by the University. It does not revoke the Organic License.
13. Paid media is not included
13.1 Definition. "Paid Media" means any paid placement, including boosting, dark posts, Spark Ads, whitelisting or other access to your creator account, paid search, programmatic ads, TV, out-of-home (billboards, transit) and print advertising.
13.2 Only with a signed Addendum. Nobody may use your content, name or likeness in Paid Media unless you sign a separate "Paid Media Rights Addendum" for that specific piece of content. Each Addendum states the asset, the University, the platforms, the placement type, start and end dates (by default no more than 90 days), territory, any spend cap, your fee, the permitted edits, confirmation that every recognizable person has signed a Release allowing Paid Media, and takedown obligations at the end date.
13.3 Your fee for Paid Media. Your fee for Paid Media use will be no less than [the greater of $150 or 100% of the original post fee] for each 30 days of paid use [founder to confirm].
13.4 Account access. If an Addendum includes whitelisting or Spark Ads, access is granted only through the platform's own tools, never by sharing your password, and it ends at the end date.
13.5 You can say no. You may decline any Paid Media request. Declining never affects your standing or future Briefs.
14. Your name and likeness
14.1 License. You license your name, image, voice, likeness and social media handle, as they appear in Approved Content, for the same uses and the same duration as the licenses in Sections 11 and 12 (and any Paid Media Rights Addendum you sign).
14.2 No separate use. Nobody may use your name or likeness outside the content itself under this Agreement. For example, neither Campus Voices nor the University may put a still of your face on a poster or a standalone ad, or use your name to endorse something. They may use a thumbnail or still frame from the content only to present, preview or link to that content.
15. Other people and releases
15.1 The Featured Person and Release Policy is part of this Agreement. You must follow it for every Assignment.
15.2 The core rules.
(a) Incidental people. People who appear in the background of public or common campus spaces do not need a Release. Do not focus on them, name them or tag them.
(b) Featured adults. Anyone you intentionally feature (speaking, interviewed, the main subject, named, or recognizable for more than a passing moment) must sign a Release before you submit the Draft.
(c) Minors. Never feature anyone under 18. Content where an identifiable minor is a subject will be rejected.
(d) Objections. If someone asks not to be filmed, stop filming them and remove them from the content.
(e) Paid Media. Paid Media requires a Release from every recognizable person, not just Featured People.
(f) Locations. Follow the location rules in the Policy: some places are allowed, some need permission, and some are never allowed.
15.3 Your attestation. When you upload a Draft, you confirm whether you feature anyone and that you have their Release. That confirmation must be true.
16. Music and intellectual property
16.1 The Music and Content Rights Policy is part of this Agreement.
16.2 Version A audio. Your Live Post may use only: (a) your own original audio; (b) sounds from TikTok's Commercial Music Library, on TikTok; (c) on Instagram, only audio from Meta Sound Collection or audio the platform marks as available for commercial or branded use [verify]; or (d) royalty-free tracks you have a license for that covers commercial social media posts. Never use trending popular songs from the general sound or music library (on TikTok or Instagram) in a sponsored post.
16.3 Version B. Version B must contain no third-party music: only your voice, natural sound, or original music you created yourself. The University may add its own licensed music.
16.4 Other people's work. Do not include third-party logos as a focus, or copyrighted video clips, artwork, movies, TV shows, sports broadcasts, or other creators' content.
16.5 University marks. In a Program, the University has licensed its names, marks, logos, mascots and buildings for Program content under the MSA. Use them only as the Brief and the University's brand guidelines allow. For the Independent Test, see Schedule A.
16.6 Copyright complaints. Campus Voices handles takedown notices about Program content. If we receive one about your content, we will tell you and work with you on a response.
17. Live Window
17.1 Keep it up. Keep your Live Post public and unchanged for the Live Window. After the Live Window you may delete or archive it.
17.2 Early deletion. If you delete or hide your Live Post before the Live Window ends without our permission (other than because we or the University asked), your earned Fee is not reduced or taken back, but we may stop offering you future Briefs.
17.3 No paid boosting. Do not use the platform's promotion tools (like TikTok Promote or Instagram Boost) on a Program post, and never buy views, likes, comments or followers.
17.4 Comments. You may manage comments on your post as you normally would. Do not answer questions in the comments on behalf of the University. For questions about admissions, aid, housing or policies, point people to the University's official resources.
18. Removal requests
18.1 Standard removal. If Campus Voices or the University asks you to remove a Live Post, you will remove it (delete it, or archive it so it is no longer public) within 24 hours after the notice.
18.2 Urgent removal. If the request is marked urgent (a safety issue, a legal issue, a factual error that could cause harm, or a crisis), you will remove it within 4 hours where reasonably possible, and in any case as soon as you see the notice.
18.3 Your pay is not affected. A removal request from Campus Voices or the University never reduces a Fee you have earned. If the request comes before Verification, we will treat the post as verified if it otherwise met Section 5.3 when it went live.
18.4 How it works. The request comes to you in the app and by email. When you have removed the post, confirm in the app. Campus Voices staff will check and record it.
18.5 If you cannot be reached or refuse. If you do not respond, we will try to reach you by email, text and phone. If the post is still up, the University may stop reposting it, we may report the post to the platform through its standard reporting tools where there is a legal or safety basis, and you may be removed from the roster. Because money damages are not a good fit here, you agree that Campus Voices may ask a court to order you to remove the content (injunctive relief or specific performance). Campus Voices will not seek money damages from you for a missed removal in ordinary cases.
18.6 After you leave. Your duty to cooperate with removal requests continues for 12 months after you leave the Program, for content that is still live.
19. Accuracy and corrections
19.1 Required facts. Include the required facts exactly as the Brief states them.
19.2 If the Brief was wrong. If a fact is wrong because the Brief was wrong, Campus Voices will correct it, you are still paid, and you will make a correction edit (for example, editing the caption or pinning a correcting comment) or remove the post if we ask.
19.3 If you got it wrong. If you stated a fact incorrectly, you will fix it or remove the post when we ask. Your earned Fee stands.
20. Confidentiality and private information
20.1 Confidential information. Keep these confidential: Briefs before the content is posted; the University's unreleased plans, dates and announcements; other creators' information; anything marked confidential; and any non-public University information you learn through the Program. Use it only to do your Assignments.
20.2 Exceptions. This does not cover information that is already public (through no fault of yours) or that you learned elsewhere lawfully. You may share confidential information with your own lawyer, tax adviser or family members who need to know, if they keep it confidential, and when the law requires it. Nothing in this Agreement stops you from talking about your own pay or terms, reporting possible legal violations to a government agency, or taking part in a government investigation.
20.3 Trade secret notice. Under the federal Defend Trade Secrets Act (18 U.S.C. 1833(b)), you are not liable for disclosing a trade secret in confidence to a government official or a lawyer solely to report or investigate a suspected legal violation, or in a sealed court filing.
20.4 How long. Your confidentiality duty lasts while you are in the Program and for [2] years after, or until the information becomes public, whichever is first.
20.5 Private information in content. Never show student IDs or other ID cards, anyone else's private information, room numbers, screens with private data (emails, grades, messages, notifications, portals), or security infrastructure. Follow the privacy rules in each Brief and the Featured Person and Release Policy.
21. Program conduct
21.1 What we care about (narrow scope). Campus Voices may act under this Section only for:
(a) the sponsored content itself;
(b) fraud: fake enrollment, fake engagement, bought views or followers, reposting someone else's work as your own, or falsified attestations;
(c) harassment, threats or discrimination toward other creators, Campus Voices staff or University staff;
(d) material misrepresentation to Campus Voices or the University; or
(e) public conduct so serious that continuing your association with the Program would materially harm the Program (for example, criminal charges for violence, or hate speech that spreads widely), decided case by case after we give you notice and a chance to respond.
21.2 What we will not police. We will not act on your unrelated personal posts, your opinions, your political views, or your lawful personal conduct. You do not need our approval for anything you post that is not Program content. Do not present your personal posts as Program content or as speaking for the University.
21.3 Steps. Normally we go step by step: a written warning, then a pause from new Briefs, then removal from the roster. For item (e), we will tell you what we are considering and give you at least [5] business days to respond before we decide.
21.4 Immediate pause. For fraud (21.1(b)), harassment, threats or discrimination (21.1(c)), or a safety concern, we may pause you right away while we look into it. We will tell you why.
21.5 Earned fees. Fees you have already earned are still paid, unless the fee itself was obtained by fraud.
22. Warranties and limited indemnity
22.1 Your promises. You promise that:
(a) the information you give us (including your eligibility) is true;
(b) your content is your original work, except material you have the right to use;
(c) your content does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, and is not defamatory;
(d) you have a signed Release from every Featured Person, and every attestation you make in the app is true;
(e) you followed the Disclosure Policy and the Music and Content Rights Policy; and
(f) you post from an account you own and control, and you follow the platform's rules.
22.2 Our promises. Campus Voices promises that it has the right to give you the materials and facts in each Brief; that, to our knowledge, the required facts in a Brief are accurate; that we will pay earned Fees as this Agreement says; and that we will handle your personal information as the Privacy Policy says.
22.3 Your limited indemnity. If a third party makes a claim against Campus Voices or the University because you broke a promise in Section 22.1, you will cover the reasonable costs of that claim, but your total responsibility for all claims about any one post is capped at the Fees you received for that post. The cap does not apply if you acted with intentional misconduct (for example, knowingly faking a Release or an attestation, or knowingly using someone else's work).
22.4 Our indemnity. Campus Voices will defend you against, and cover the costs of, third-party claims that arise from: facts, materials or instructions in a Brief; University names, marks or materials; any edit or use of your content by Campus Voices or the University; or use of your content outside the licenses in this Agreement. This does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by your breach of Section 22.1.
22.5 How claims are handled. The party asking for coverage must tell the other promptly, let the other party control the defense (with counsel reasonably acceptable to both), and cooperate. Nobody may settle a claim in a way that admits fault for, or imposes obligations on, the other party without their written consent.
23. Limitation of liability
23.1 No indirect damages, both ways. Neither you nor Campus Voices is liable to the other for lost profits, lost opportunities, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.
23.2 Your cap. Your total liability to Campus Voices for any post is capped at the Fees you received for that post, except for fraud or intentional misconduct.
23.3 Our cap. Campus Voices' total liability to you is capped at the greater of (a) the Fees paid or payable to you under this Agreement in the 12 months before the claim or (b) [$1,000]. This cap does not apply to Fees and kill fees you have earned, to our obligations under Section 22.4, or to our fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct.
23.4 What cannot be limited. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
24. Term, termination and survival
24.1 Term. This Agreement starts when you accept it and continues until either of us ends it.
24.2 You can leave any time. You may end this Agreement at any time by email to hello@campusvoicesmedia.com or in the app. Before or when you leave, finish or release (Section 4.4) any Assignments you accepted.
24.3 We may end it. Campus Voices may remove you from the Program and end this Agreement by notice to you. If we do so for a reason other than Section 21, we will pay you a kill fee under Section 5.7 for any Assignment cancelled as a result.
24.4 When a Program ends. If a University's Program ends, Assignments for that Program are cancelled and paid under Section 5.7, and approved posts in flight are paid in full once verified.
24.5 What survives. These survive the end of this Agreement: the licenses for content that was paid for (Sections 11 to 14); payment of Fees and kill fees you earned; confidentiality (Section 20); removal cooperation for 12 months for content still live (Section 18.6); warranties, indemnity and limits (Sections 22 and 23); privacy (Section 25); disputes (Section 28); and any other term that by its nature should survive.
25. Privacy
25.1 Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy at [www.campusvoicesmedia.com/privacy] explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights. It is part of this Agreement.
25.2 What the University sees. In a Program, the University sees your name, social handles, Drafts, Approved Content, review notes, post URLs and post metrics. It does not see your payment details or tax information.
25.3 Your rights. You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, opt out of marketing, and opt out of case-study use, by writing to privacy@campusvoicesmedia.com. We respond within 30 days (45 where state law allows). Deletion does not undo licenses already granted for paid content, and we keep some records (such as agreements, releases and payment records) as long as the law or the Privacy Policy requires.
25.4 No selling. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
26. Electronic acceptance and new versions
26.1 Consent to electronic records. You agree to receive this Agreement, Briefs, Policies, notices and other records electronically, and to sign and accept them electronically, as permitted by the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and applicable state electronic transactions laws. To use the app you need a device with a current web browser, an internet connection and an email account. You can save or print any record from the app.
26.2 How you accept. You accept this Agreement by checking the box and clicking the accept button in the app. That is your electronic signature and has the same effect as a handwritten one. We record the version you accepted, the date and time, and your IP address, in a record that cannot be edited or deleted.
26.3 Paper copies and withdrawal. You may ask for a paper copy of any record at no charge by emailing hello@campusvoicesmedia.com. You may withdraw your consent to electronic records at any time by emailing us. Because the Program runs in the app, withdrawing consent means you will not be able to accept new Briefs. It does not affect anything you already accepted, and we will send remaining notices to you on paper or in any other way we agree.
26.4 New versions. We may publish a new version of this Agreement. We will notify you by email and in the app at least [14] days before it applies. A new version:
(a) applies only to Briefs you accept after you accept the new version;
(b) does not change any Assignment you accepted under an earlier version; and
(c) does not change any license already granted. Each license stays on the version of this Agreement it was granted under.
If you do not accept a new version, you can finish your current Assignments under the old version, but you cannot accept new Briefs until you accept it.
26.5 Policy updates. The Policies may be updated. Each Brief links to the Policy versions that apply to it, and a Policy update applies only to Briefs offered after the update is posted.
27. Notices
27.1 To you. We send notices to the email address in your account and in the app. A notice by email is received when sent, unless we get a bounce message. Keep your email and phone number current.
27.2 Calls and texts. You agree that Campus Voices may call or text the phone number in your profile about your Assignments, payments and removal requests. We will not use it for marketing. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop texts by replying STOP, but then we will reach you by email and in the app only, and urgent removal notices may take longer to reach you.
27.3 To us. Send notices to hello@campusvoicesmedia.com or through the app. Legal notices may also be sent by mail to TTplus10 Inc., [registered address].
28. Disputes
28.1 Talk first. If there is a dispute, either of us will first send the other a written description of it. We will both try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days before starting any legal action.
28.2 Small claims. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court in the county where you live, as long as it qualifies.
28.3 Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of [Nevada], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of the state where you live or work applies no matter what a contract says.
28.4 Binding individual arbitration. PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS HOW DISPUTES ARE RESOLVED. Except as stated in Sections 28.2 and 28.10, any dispute, claim or controversy between you and Campus Voices arising out of or relating to this Agreement, your participation in the Program or the Independent Test, your classification as an independent contractor, your Fees, or the Platform (a "Dispute") will be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, not in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this Section 28.
28.5 How arbitration works. The American Arbitration Association ("AAA") administers the arbitration under its Consumer Arbitration Rules [counsel to confirm the rule set] in effect when the claim is filed, available at www.adr.org. A single arbitrator decides the Dispute. The hearing takes place by video, by phone, or in person in the county where you live, as you choose, or on written submissions if the claim is for less than $10,000. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could award, and must issue a short written decision.
28.6 Who pays. Campus Voices pays all AAA filing, administration and arbitrator fees, except that if you start the arbitration you pay a filing fee no higher than what you would pay to file the claim in court in the county where you live. Each side pays its own lawyers unless the law or the arbitrator awards fees.
28.7 No class, collective or representative actions. YOU AND CAMPUS VOICES EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF, CLASS MEMBER, OR REPRESENTATIVE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims and may award relief only to the individual party asking for it. Where a law does not allow a representative-claim waiver (for example, certain claims under California's Private Attorneys General Act), this waiver applies to the fullest extent the law permits, and any representative claim that cannot be waived is stayed in court until the individual arbitration is finished.
28.8 Many claims at once. If 25 or more similar Demands for arbitration are filed against Campus Voices by or with the help of the same lawyers or coordinated group, the AAA will administer them in batches of up to 25, one batch at a time, with one arbitrator per batch, and the parties will cooperate in good faith to resolve them efficiently. [Counsel to align with the AAA's current mass arbitration rules.]
28.9 Who decides arbitrability. The arbitrator decides any question about whether a Dispute must be arbitrated, including the scope and enforceability of this Section, except that a court decides whether Section 28.7 is enforceable, and if a court finds any part of Section 28.7 unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) proceeds in court and is stayed until the arbitration of all other claims is finished.
28.10 What stays out of arbitration. Either of us may (a) bring an individual claim in small claims court under Section 28.2; (b) ask a court for an urgent order to stop ongoing harm, such as a removal under Section 18.5, or to protect intellectual property or confidential information, without first completing Section 28.1; and (c) you may always file a charge or complaint with a government agency, such as a state unemployment or labor department or the FTC. Nothing in this Agreement limits your right to talk to a government agency.
28.11 Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@campusvoicesmedia.com from the email on your account within 30 days after you first accept this Agreement, with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" and your name. Opting out has no effect on anything else, including the Briefs we offer you. If you opt out, Disputes will be decided in the state or federal courts for the county where you live, and Section 28.7 does not apply to you.
28.12 Changes to this Section. If we change this Section 28 in a later version, the change does not apply to a Dispute we already knew about, and you may reject the change by emailing us within 30 days, in which case the earlier version of this Section keeps applying to you.
28.13 Venue for anything that goes to court. Anything that is decided in court under this Section will be decided in the state or federal courts for the county where you live, unless you choose the courts in [Clark County, Nevada].
29. General terms
29.1 Entire agreement. This Agreement (with the documents in Section 1.3) is the entire agreement between us about the Program and replaces any earlier terms, including the earlier Campus Voices creator terms.
29.2 Assignment. You may not transfer this Agreement to someone else. Campus Voices may transfer it to an affiliate or to a successor to its business (for example, a subsidiary company set up to run Campus Voices), with notice to you. The transfer does not reduce your rights.
29.3 Severability. If a court finds any part of this Agreement unenforceable, that part will be limited as little as needed, and the rest stays in effect.
29.4 No waiver. If either of us does not enforce a term right away, that does not waive it.
29.5 Events outside our control. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control (for example, platform outages, natural disasters or campus closures). This does not delay payment of earned Fees for more than 15 days.
29.6 Third parties. Only the University (for Section 12) is a third-party beneficiary. No one else has rights under this Agreement.
29.7 Interpretation. Headings are for convenience. "Including" means "including without limitation." The short version at the top is a summary and does not change the numbered terms.
Schedule A: Independent Test terms
The short version for the Independent Test
In the Independent Test, Campus Voices (not Indiana University) is the sponsor and pays you $75 for each approved, published and verified post, for up to 3 opportunities to start. Indiana University is not a customer, not a sponsor, and not involved. Your caption says Campus Voices paid you. Campus Voices may reuse your paid posts on its own unpaid channels. Nobody else gets a license. If a university ever wants to use your video later, we must ask you first, and you can say no.
A.1 What this Schedule does. This Schedule A changes the Agreement for the Independent Test. Where this Schedule and the rest of the Agreement disagree, this Schedule controls for Independent Test Assignments.
A.2 Not affiliated with Indiana University. Campus Voices, an independent company, is recruiting enrolled Indiana University Bloomington students for a paid creator test. Campus Voices is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Indiana University. Indiana University is not a customer, sponsor or operator of the Independent Test.
A.3 Eligibility. For the Independent Test, "enrolled" in Section 2.1(b) means currently enrolled at Indiana University Bloomington. We verify this through your iu.edu email under Section 2.2. We use your iu.edu address only for that check and each term's re-check, never for any other contact, because Indiana University does not allow its email to be used for commercial contact. Your account must use a personal email address, and all other messages go there. We will not ask Indiana University to confirm your enrollment.
A.4 Campus Voices is the Sponsor and the Reviewer. Campus Voices is the Sponsor, reviews and approves every Draft, and is the only party that can send removal requests. There is no University, no MSA and no SOW. References in the Agreement to the University's guidelines mean Campus Voices' written guidelines for the Independent Test. References to the University's requests or decisions mean Campus Voices'.
A.5 No University license. Section 12 (Organic License to the University) does not apply. No university receives any license to Independent Test content.
A.6 Campus Voices organic license. For each piece of Approved Content from the Independent Test, you grant Campus Voices a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it on "Campus Voices Channels": social accounts owned and controlled by Campus Voices (on the same platforms listed in Section 12.2), the Campus Voices website, Campus Voices email newsletters, and presentations and pitch materials Campus Voices shows to prospective university customers. This license:
(a) starts when the Fee has been paid (there is no University invoice in the Independent Test) and is then irrevocable;
(b) may be sublicensed only to agencies and vendors acting for Campus Voices to post on Campus Voices Channels;
(c) allows the same edits as Section 12.5 (with "Campus Voices" in place of "the University") and forbids the same things as Sections 12.4 and 12.6;
(d) includes crediting you under Section 12.7;
(e) excludes Paid Media under Section 13;
(f) includes the courtesy takedown in Section 12.10, made directly by Campus Voices within 10 business days; and
(g) continues under Section 12.9.
Your opt-out in Section 11.3 applies to use in pitch materials and case studies, not to posts on Campus Voices' own social accounts.
A.7 Extending to a future university: only with your separate consent. Campus Voices may not extend, sublicense or transfer any right in your Independent Test content to any university (including Indiana University, if it later becomes a customer) unless you give separate written consent at that time, for the specific content and university. You may say no, and saying no never affects your standing. [Founder to decide whether Campus Voices pays an extra fee for that consent.]
A.8 Fee and number of opportunities. The Fee is $75 per approved, published and verified post. We expect to offer each creator up to 3 opportunities to start. That is an expectation, not a promise, and you can decline any of them. Kill fees under Section 5.7 are $37.50 (50%) and $75 (100%).
A.9 Disclosure for the Independent Test. In place of Section 9.2:
(a) your caption must start with "#ad Paid partnership with @[CampusVoicesHandle]";
(b) include "Not affiliated with IU" in the caption [counsel to confirm whether needed];
(c) turn on the platform's branded content or paid partnership label, with Campus Voices as the brand or partner where the platform supports it;
(d) show "Ad, paid by Campus Voices" on screen for at least the first 3 seconds; and
(e) do not tag Indiana University or any of its official accounts as a partner or brand.
A.10 Indiana University names and marks. Campus Voices has no license from Indiana University. You may show campus as it naturally appears, and you may name the University to describe where you go to school. You must not: use Indiana University logos, seals, wordmarks or mascot art as graphics, stickers or overlays; say or suggest the content is official or affiliated with the University (for example "official," "IU creators program" or "partnered with IU"); or put up posters or flyers, or chalk, about Campus Voices anywhere on Indiana University property. Indiana University policy FIN-PURCH-12 prohibits commercial posters, flyers and chalking on its property without approval from Indiana University Procurement. Campus Voices will tell you in writing if it ever receives that approval; until then, no posters, flyers or chalking on Indiana University property.
A.11 Where you may film. Indiana University has a filming process that may cover paid creator filming on campus. Until Campus Voices tells you in writing that it has confirmed with Indiana University that filming on campus is allowed (and on what terms), film Independent Test content only in your own spaces (for example, your own room, with your roommate's consent) and in off-campus locations, never on Indiana University property. Once campus filming is confirmed, follow Indiana University's filming process and posted rules for any building or space you film in. In all cases, follow the location rules in the Featured Person and Release Policy.
A.12 End of the Independent Test. The Independent Test runs until [date] or until Campus Voices ends it by notice. Sections 5, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 22, 23 and 28 and this Schedule's Sections A.6 and A.7 survive.
